Browning A5 Semi-Automatic

Browning A5 Semi-Automatic

The new Browning A5 Semi Automatic. The “humpback” is back once again, from Browning.

The lines of the new A5 will perhaps remind you of its illustrious ancestor, but its lines are the only points  this new gun has in common with the old A5 of our grandfathers.

The brand new Browning A5 was developed to be the most reliable and the fastest inertia- operated semi-automatic shotgun and with the lowest recoil sensation.

Browning’s confidence in the new A5 is that that they are offering a guarantee of 100,000 shots or 7 years with it.

Browning say this reliability above all relies on the new Kinematic Drive System which is the guns tireless engine

Other innovations make the Browning A5 a concentrate of new technologies: The New Investor DS Chokes fitted to the Vector Back Bored barrels, the Inflex II recoil pad and the Speed Load Plus System

Take a look at the pictures below, for more information about the Browning A5, call Steve on 01234 708893 – Priced at £1185.00

Browning B725 Grade 5 Sporter

Browning B725 Grade 5 Sporter

We have just taken delivery of this magnificent example of the Browning B725 Sporter Grade 5. Fitted with 30” barrels it comes complete with 5 flush fitting chokes. The wood and the hand engraving exemplary.

B725 Grade 52B725 Grade 53

B725 Grade 51 B725 Grade 54The new Browning B725 is an aesthetic and technical revolution in Over and Under shotguns. Based on the legendary B25, it is innovative whilst retaining the many existing design features of the B525, which make it the most outstanding Over & Under shotgun on the market.

The new B725 has a low action frame, which combines all the qualities of reliability and long-life possessed by all Browning Over and Under shotguns. The action frame has a lower and more compact profile than most other Over and Under shotguns. The low action frame provides the following benefitswhen shooting by:

Enabling faster aiming and therefore more instinctive shooting. Reducing muzzle flip due to the frames inline recoil providing a more comfortable shooting position, making it highly maneuverable and effective when shooting.

The B725 is the only Over and Under gun that combines the reliability and legendary sturdiness of Browning Over and Under guns, thanks to its wide, flat bolt, a unique hinge pin and wide recoil surfaces, all combined with a low action frame.

The new Invector DS chokes provide unrivalled performance by providing an optimal length of 80mm, an exclusive internal shape and a patented gas seal segment. The optimal 80 mm length enables an exclusive internal shape to be developed, which optimises performances over all shooting distances and ensures a uniform concentration of the shot pattern when using lead or steel shot. The new patented Invector DS (Double Seal) Chokes offer a double seal. They are fitted with a compression ring that limits penetration of combustion gas between the choke and barrel. The thread on the muzzle side forms an obstacle to prevent exhaust gasses from entering. The ring stops the Invector DS from unscrewing when firing. This guarantees that the choke stays clean and is easy to remove under any conditions.

B725 Grade 55

The B725 has new barrels made of new Back-bored Vector Pro shaped barrels and Invector DS chokes.

This gives the B725 perfect balance, ergonomics and swing in all shooting conditions.

The principle of the Back-bored Vector Pro barrel is to improve the diameter of the bore of the barrel and to extend the forcing cone wich provides three advantages:

Increased speed and better penetration of shot by reducing friction between the shot and the walls of the barrel

Better shot pattern by reducing any pellet deformation when going from through the forcing cone between the chamber and the barrel bore.

Recoil is reduced because the shot load moves more freely.

The B725 has an improved mechanical firing system, allowing the shooter to really “feel” the shot as the trigger is pulled, which makes for a great feel. These new firing system is shorter, faster and lighter giving more control over your shooting.

Browning’s innovative mechanical firing system provides great ease of use for hunters and shooters, guaranteeing that a second shot can be fired whatever the circumstance. Even if you only have one cartridge in your gun, you will still be able to fire, which is not the case with an inertial system.

A totally new Inflex II recoil pad is fitted on all B725 shotguns as standard. This ultra flexible recoil pad provides the best recoil absorption possible on a shotgun. This exclusive material makes shouldering easier. Two other pads, 20 or 25 mm thick (available on option), make it easy to adjust the length of your stock. In this way, you can adapt your B725 to your own morphology and also adapt it depending on the hunting season. Furthermore, these exclusively designed pads, 20 or 25 mm thick, generate a downward movement of the stock when firing, moving it away from the shooter’s cheek, and giving incomparable comfort when firing.

Beretta 692 at Sporting Targets

Beretta 692

The 682 became almost legendary in status as the competition over and under of choice from Beretta. Following on from their success with the DT11, Beretta turned their attention to the 682, with the aim of developing the next generation of competition over and under. In the Beretta 692 you will discover an extraordinary, thoroughbred competition gun, which will take your performance to another level!

It is the successful mix of tradition and technology, together with the elegant and striking new design, that makes this shotgun absolutely outstanding.  At its core, the gun has three key new features; Steelium Plus Barrels, a wider receiver and the inclusion of the new B FAST system.

Every Beretta barrel has a three part internal geometry; first the chamber, then the forcing cone to bring the barrel diameter down to the final section which will be at the required bore size. The 682, has a conic length (forcing cone) of 65mm. With the DT11 Beretta lengthened this to a huge 480mm! The 692 has a conic length of 360mm, five and a half times longer than the 682! This more gradually decreasing bore section makes for much smoother pressure dynamics inside the barrel and better weight distribution along the barrel. All of which means improved ballistic performance. In plain English we’re talking, far less recoil and barrel raise, higher precision and better patterning! Beretta has always been one of the best barrel manufacturers in the world but by this lengthening of the conic section they have redefined the competition barrel!

Wider Receiver

A competition O/U should above all be evenly balanced, to provide greater stability before and after each shot. By widening the action of the 692 you will achieve better shouldering and faster target acquisition.

BFast

The inclusion of Beretta’s B FAST system, balance and handling is further improved. Space has been created in the bottom of the stock to allow the insertion of, up to 5, 20g metal wads. This enables to shooter to micro adjust the point of balance of the gun.

New Look

The look of the new 692 is very much a-kin to the DT11. A highly polished receiver is embellished with black and gold engraving giving the new gun a stylish and elegant look. Beretta describes it as “one of the most beautiful guns they have ever made.” Whether you agree with that or not, you cannot fail to recognise the improved performance this gun will deliver thanks to the cutting edge design and outstanding technical performance of the ALL NEW 692!

East Anglian Air Ambulance – Fund Raising Clay Pigeon Shoot

East Anglian Air Amubulance Clay Pigeon Shoot 22nd May 2013

Anglia One

Anglia One on the beach at Waxham Sands

The East Anglian Air Ambulance is a 365-day helicopter emergency medical service covering Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

We do not receive any direct Government or National Lottery funding and the £6 million we need to raise every year comes directly from charity donations.

A major source of our funding is our own lottery which costs just £1 each week and has a guaranteed jackpot of £1,000, an accumulator prize and 17 smaller cash prizes.

Anglia Two

Anglia Two on the helipad at Peterborough Hospital

The charity has grown considerably since its early days when it had just one helicopter flying one day a week.  Now we have our two distinctive yellow helicopters, Anglia One based at Norwich Airport and Anglia Two at Cambridge, both crewed by a doctor and critical care paramedic, and we plan to start night-flying soon.

Supporters sometimes confuse us with other organisations and charities operating in this region but there is only one East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) charity.

On the 22nd May we are holding a fund raising event at Sporting Targets Bedfordshire, a Clay Pigeon Shoot, you do not need to have shot before as full instruction will be given, on the other hand if you are already a shooter, this is the opprtunity to come along and have some fun and raise fund for a good course at the same time.

The cost is £65.00, the ticket includes bacon rolls and two hours of shooting guided by a fully qualified instructor. Price is fully inclusive and includes a £15 donation to the EAAA.

To book, please send cheques, made payable to East Anglian Air Ambulance to:

Hannah Bennett, EAAA, Whitehouse Distribution Centre, Whitehouse Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5NX
