The shoot also combined the Bedfordshire English Sporting County Championships.  John Wells took the High Gun with a very respectable score of 93.

Below is a picture of John being contratulated by Andrew Clifton, John’s son, Ben, is in the foreground who, up to the age of 19, was a very keen shooter and shot for the England Junior Team winning two gold medals in the process, however, following a car accident is no longer able to shoot, but now enjoys and shares in John’s success and runs a website: www.englishsportingclays.co.uk
