Formula 1 Shoot 4th September 2011

Our annual Formula 1 shoot took place on Sunday 4th December. As the name suggests this is for the Formula 1 teams and associated businesses that takes place at the end of the season.

The event this year was enhanced further by generous sponsorship from Gamebore Cartridges, Talking Headsets, Bodyflight and Hull.

The shoot attracted in excess of 60 entries, to shoot a 100 target layout, followed by a buffet lunch and prize giving. The weather, for December, was excellent, staying dry with blue skies. This year we had the first complete novice team, entered by Red Bull, they received instruction all the way round the course and achieved very creditable scores, David Hutting 43, Gareth Rees 47, Neil Furber 49, Christos Charalambous 43, Jeremy Vick 42 and Anne Ross 27, well done folks

The eventual winning team was Formula One Retired, Jerry Bond 74, Jan Palitis 80, John Greenwell 76, Andy Poole 86, Nigel Holt 76, Peter Harris 72.

 

The High Gun going to Nigel Green, of Greensport, with an excellent score of 88.
