9:00 am - Breakfast at the hotel.

11:00 am - After breakfast depart for Sporting Targets, Riseley

12:15 pm - Arrive at Sporting Targets to a warm welcome with tea or coffee and bacon rolls, providing you with all of the energy required to maximize the enjoyment of your activities.

12:45 pm - After your welcome introduction and basic safety briefing. Your group, escorted by our highly experienced instructor, will progress to one of our many layouts.
With your Shotgun “in hand” the Instructor will show you how to stand and mount the gun correctly.

In a very short period of time you will have learnt sufficient to “dust” your first clay ~ a truly exhilarating experience.

You will then progress to the Archery Range, a classic activity, and one that appeals to the widest possible spectrum of guests.

Our range requires both skill and steady nerves to hit "gold" although a few wayward arrows are only to be expected! Our bows are light and easy to use but can still send an arrow "swift and true".

Finally you will progress to Air Rifle Range. We have the traditional round targets for scoring in the competition as well as "drop down" targets at various distances (shoot them and they drop, shoot them again and they pop back up!).

3:00 pm - With activities completed it’s back to the Shooting Lodge for a welcome cup of tea or coffee.
The bar will be open now your have completed your activities. After the scoring has been announced and the winners congratulated it will be time to say farewell.

Saturday Arrival

3.30 pm - Arrive at The Woodland Manor, after booking in you can relax, make yourself at home and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

7.00 pm - Settle down for the evening with dinner and wine in the Woodland restaurant or make you way to the local town of Bedford or even further a-field, the City of Milton Keynes to party on down.

Sunday

8:30 am - Breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 am - After breakfast you can make yourselves comfortable in the Signature Suite for your ‘Three In One Treats’ pamper session.
Enjoy.

12.00 pm - With the weekend drawing to an end its time to depart or you could chose to extend the weekend a while and have lunch at The Woodland Manor

A DOUBLE BARREL OF LAUGHS

Guys automatically assume they’ve got a God-given talent for shooting – as usually they are stronger then women - but this is not a prerequisite for being a clay pigeon shooter. Concentration, a sharp eye and steady hand are all you need – so don’t worry if the only weapon you have held was not double barreled!!!

The myth of the gun throwing your shoulder out is pure myth (although not even all men know that) – so this could be your chance to impress. With the aid of a skilled instructor (male or female), a novice shooter will soon learn how to hold and load a gun, and I promise (from experience) you will hit and break clays even on your first attempt. This gives the biggest and best adrenalin rush – and provides a really sociable and fun day out, plus the opportunity to tell your friends of the ‘smoking weapon’ you held in you hands!!!

Girls! Come and try clay shooting at Sporting Targets. Great facilities, great company, great tuition, great fun. Where else can you shoot a big gun and blast away at your heart's content? What a buzz to see that LBD (Little Black Disc) starburst into lots of pieces? Come and have a go - you'll be hooked.

Bookings

Sporting Targets Ltd. will accept a provisional booking either verbally, by facsimile or in writing. On receipt of a 50% deposit, Sporting Targets Ltd. will confirm the booking subject to availability (days are booked on a “first come-first served” basis). The remaining balance for the event will become payable on the day the event takes place. A drop in numbers will not result in a drop in cost.
