Staff Profiles

Ian is our Chairman and is very much the life and soul of the party. He can normally be found welcoming guests and enjoys nothing more than a friendly chat.

 

June Clifton – Director

Slightly more elusive, June manages the kitchens and produces the copious amounts of first class fayre consumed on a daily basis.

 

Andrew Clifton - Managing Director

Our Managing Director, Andrew manages the grounds and is responsible for the smooth running of the whole complex.

 

Tess – Corporate Sales and Events Manager

Tess´s role is to manage all the groups that book in. Whether they are corporate, staff or stag/hen parties Tess can be found making sure that each event runs smoothly.

 

John – Corporate Development Manager

John´s key objective is to develop business to business relationships, with booking agencies and local firms, often found deep in thought reading contracts. John also does marketing for the club, as well as refereeing registered and other events.

 

Helen Nicholson – Retail Manager

Helen manages the shop with alacrity – both on site and online, making sure that we have the products you want available when you want to buy them.

 

Tony Fletcher - Grounds manager & Instructor

Tony (or Fletch as he is known) is the Grounds Manager and responsible for keeping everything running sweetly. He is also a BASC Qualified instructor available for tuition on Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays & Mondays.

 

Steve Matcham - Specialist Instructor

Steve is a specialist instructor and helps Helen to manage the shop.

 

Sean Scott - Instructor

Sean is another instructor who is particularly good for tower and game shooting hints and tips.

 

Angela Smith - Head Receptionist

Angela runs reception during the mornings providing guests with coffee, courtesy and a smile.

 

Joanne - Receptionist

Jo works Thursday and Friday afternoon and all day on Saturday, she is well known along with Kay to have a secret stash of sweets behind the counter.

 

Kay - Receptionist

You will also find Kay on Reception during the afternoons and Sundays. A kind and warm greeting awaits you on your arrival from the lively and enthusiastic Kay.

 

You can find Dick out on the grounds making sure the complex is fully operational and looking tidy. It´s always worth asking Dick for his latest joke as he rarely lets you down.

 

Doug, Beth & Bracken

Doug, Beth and Bracken are the club´s mascots and are always on hand should guests feel the need to provide a bit of fuss and attention.
