I booked for my wife son and I to have a taster experience which included clay shooting, air rifles and archery. Our instructor Vince Elder was fantastic, very informative, friendly and patient. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and were surprised at the variety available. The facilities are great, free tea and coffee is always a bonus. I would highly recommend sporting targets to anyone especially if you are looking to trial or get in to the sport.

I was very nervous when we arrived as I had never handled a gun before. Vince our guide very soon put me at ease. Our group of four had a fantastic time. The air rifle shooting, archery and clay pigeon shooting were amazing. Vince was so helpful to us, very patient showing us what to do. I was very impressed with how safety conscious he was. After our experience we had dinner next to a little pond. The food area was very clean and the meal was delicious, £30 for 3 people including drinks. We were offered a complimentary tea or coffee. The area we waited in was also spotless and the staff were very friendly. I definitely recommend Sporting Targets for a fun, amazing day out
