The Woodcock fleece is the midlayer of choice for shooting parties in the cold months. The Woodcock fleece is made from soft micro-fleece, which has excellent temperature-regulating properties. The micro-fleece is woven using a thin polyester yarn, which produces a fabric with many more tiny air pockets than in a traditional woven fleece. These air pockets are readily warmed by the body, giving them excellent insulating properties. At the same time, they let the body breathe, so moisture is wicked away and you stay dry. The zip and collar are protected by a soft hem, and the V-shaped neck gives you room to wear a shirt and tie underneath. So you can dress formally without compromising on comfort and insulation.
