Joint SOAP’s (over 60’s) club membership allows two senior shooters to enjoy all the benefits of being a member of Sporting Targets, the UK’s finest clay shooting and corporate entertainment complex, for one year. These benefits include discounts on various products and services throughout our 40-acre grounds. Members can enjoy practice clays at a reduced rate, as well as discounted competition entries. Ideal for any shooting enthusiast, whether a beginner, or a more seasoned shooter. Discounts are also available on tuition, with our experienced instructors, who teach both the basics of clay pigeon shooting, and the more advanced skills of specific shooting disciplines. Additional perks include concessionary equipment hire.

Recommended for everyone

I went as part of a group ranging in age from 16 to 60 and everyone had a great time. We did cross-bow, air-gun and clay shooting. John, our instructor, quickly got to know us and carefully explained each activity and technique to a group of mainly first-timers. He greatly added to the enjoyment. Each activity is a little bit competitive, with scoring and that added to the fun. A great multi-generational activity that I'd 100% recommend to do here.

First Timers Experience

I booked for my wife son and I to have a taster experience which included clay shooting, air rifles and archery. Our instructor Vince Elder was fantastic, very informative, friendly and patient. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and were surprised at the variety available. The facilities are great, free tea and coffee is always a bonus. I would highly recommend sporting targets to anyone especially if you are looking to trial or get in to the sport.
